Minehead Sawmills supply and deliver seasoned firewood, soft and hardwood logs are available. These are all sourced locally from sustainable managed woodlands.
All logs are cut into 250mm lengths, however can be cut in up to 450mm lengths on request.
Our logs are below 25% moisture content. The water (or moisture) content of the wood is a vital consideration in the processing, transporting and burning. It is what most affects the efficient use of wood for heat in the UK, and yet nature itself provides a big part of the solution.
Above all, don’t forget: Burn wood not water!
